Robert Gerner

Robert, as an “Advisor” helps influence and guide the vision and direction of the company’s sales and go-to market strategy. He brings 16 years of sales experience, having held both individual contributor & management roles along with being a key lead in the build out of successful regional based channel programs. Robert is passionate about helping people and takes a more personal approach to how he engages customers which has allowed him to grow strong relationships that go far beyond just individual project based interactions.

Robert has helped hundreds of clients address security needs across multiple areas: saas based applications, public cloud, virtualization, physical/hardware, end point, data center, email, IR/SOC Staff Augmentation and more.

Prior to taking on an Advisor role, Robert worked at vArmour Networks where he spent almost 3 years as an early employee in a Regional Director role, and over his career has contributed and help build successful sales teams that have lead to two (2) acquisitions (WebEx & AirWatch) and one (1) IPO (Proofpoint).
In his spare time, Robert enjoys spending time with his family and close friends. He loves technology, sports and competition level thumb wrestling.
